yeah first time ever. Everybody seems to be doing it so why not start a journal. 'm always good at starting things, I should earn a golden star with bright pink fluffy ends. To bad I never finish much and those stars don't exist... maybe I should make some 'm sure they will do it awsome on the market of the big WWW.
But anway 'm lazy today so I just dump something I also dumped on my LJ (see I started lots of things)

So here we go, I throw: Homofobia....

Homofobia, it really creeps me out and believe me not many things creep me out. This one does. Homofobia, two words merge into one. Homo, long def but means the same in latin. Fobia, a fear for something, a living creature or a situation where you should have to be afraid of.
I think this is the biggest bullshit ever. It's not a fobia, it's discrimination. It's hating someone else just because there not like you. And that is scary for many people. Fear the things you don't understand. But fear is a nasty emotion because it reflects on yourself, creeps you out. So rather then feeling scared -because they might thing your one of them- you turn that nasty scary feeling into hate. Easy, piece of cake ain't it. I once had a guy at work always yelling fag this fag that. One time I asked how, SO WHAT?! He gave me one of the most evil glares in the history of humanekind and said: They better keep there fucking hands off of me.
Fear huh? But that's a shitty weaky word. Because a guy doesn't get scared right. No guys aren't people that get scared real easy. So let's just make fun of the fags, bash them up, poke them with sticks, throw rocks at them. People always have to pick a minority. Because what if the minority becomes the majority? Who... that would be scary wouldn't it?
See that's where discrimination comes along. Negro's, Juws, we'd seen that before.
It's pisses me off when people say it's a sickness. Being gay. How can it be a sickness? You don't get ill from it, there isn't a medication or cure from it. You don't give it to your kids, you don't give it to a person if you kiss them. It's in you, your born gay. Like your born with blue eyes, light skin, freckles, dark hair. It's nothing you can turn off or on, it's something you can suppres but never lose. It's a part of you.
Being gay isn't a sickness like homofobia isn't a fobia. It's rasisme and wrong. Like when women got burned alive because they where witches, like when Jews got killed because they where evil. People fear what they don't understand, well then try to learn, see a bit further and out of the box. Because really life is great out here.
